Interactive Portfolio Playground — Web Design + Development
These two early portfolio sites were created for web development coursework and were each designed and developed independently from concept to code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript). Both explore the idea of a “digital playground,” where visitors can interact with the landing page and influence its design.
While the rest of the site houses older student work and case studies, the landing page became the centerpiece showcasing my interest in interactive design and creative coding.
1st version features a defined play area where users can generate randomly colored shapes with each click, and drag them to create a custom homepage. See live site: https://jannahho.github.io/HannahJoPortfolio/index.html
2nd version reimagines similar interactivity as a hidden easter egg — a spiral drawing mechanism on the background of page elements. See live site: https://jannahho.github.io/Hannah2Portfolio2024/index.html
